
Nairobi governor Johnstone Sakaja his counterpart from kiambu were part of the delegation that received President William Ruto who has already landed in Nairobi to oversee the second phase of a massive project that is expected to be beneficial to thousands of informal settlers.

Ruto having been warmly received in the area by the locals who were excited following his recent move to ensure that every Kenyan gets a decent house even as he takes over the wheels of power to Spearhead the nation towards the next face.

Speaking at the event ODM member of parliament for langata Phelix Odiuaor commonly known as jalango said that the initiative was a good gesture to the locals since it will provide opportunity for the thousands of area residents to get a decent living and fend for their families.
Also present in the meeting were cabinet secretaries designate in charge of housing Zachariah Mwangi mwangi and his counterparts for roads and public works kipchumba murkomen and the current housing cabinet secretary Macharia.
