Ruto's Mt Kenya Allies Threaten to Break Ties Over Mudavadi as Details of Awaited Muranga Rally Leak

Anxiety has now rocked Deputy President William Ruto and his newly handshake partner Hon Musalia Mudavadi days after the earthquake announcement on Sunday

This follows the emergence of some confirmed reports that betrayal feeling has already invaded DP Ruto's allies in Mt Kenya who have reportedly threatened to take action should he fail to return to appointing one of their own as his 2022 Presidential Running Mate.

According to the latest report by the nation media group, it is now emerging DP Ruto's allies from the Mt Kenya region are now piling pressure on him to immediately announce his preferred 2022 Presidential Running mate now that it is evident and clear that Musalia Mudavadi could be picked.AAccording to a source within UDA, the pressure to name Dr Ruto’s running mate stems from fears that Mr Mudavadi may be offered the Number Two position in UDA, which speculation ANC operatives have dismissed.

“After the DP announced his partnership with Mr Mudavadi, our people are wondering if they are going to be short-changed. That is why the DP might be forced to unveil his running mate early next month,” said the lawmaker who did not want to be named.

At the same time, DP Ruto is expected to land in Muranga County on February 6th where allies and close sources have alleged that he might announce his 2022 Presidential Running mate.
