Speculations have rocked online from Kenyans moments after the Second in Power, Dr William Samoei Ruto's Security Detail was reshuffled in his homes including the Sugoi, Elgon View home in Uasin Gishu County.
According to reports the Government Service Unit (GSU) officers who were reportedly guarding Deputy President William Ruto's premises have been evacuated and transferred to other police units by the government. Reports also indicate that the the Administration Police (AP) have already arrived in Ruto's camp as a replacement of the foregone GSU officers.
The misery behind the modifications of the second in command's elite security guards has left Kenyans talking online as it has come barely a week before the Deputy President was dared to resign from the government by his boss, His Excellency, Uhuru Mwigai Kenyatta.
However, Pulse Live Kenya has confirmed the news that one of the GSU officers reported to be linked to DP Ruto's Security Detail has broken the silence moments after being transferred.
As the report reveals, they (the officers) were all told to dispatch from Ruto's premises but details on why they were transferred weren't disclosed. In addition, the officer revealed that some of the officers were reassigned to president Uhuru Kenyatta's security team.
