The Kenyan government broke its silence today with a strong message directed at Kenyan citizens living in prestigious local and regional locations.

The Kenyan government has given all Kenyan chiefs living in the generous and morally upright environment of the vast county of Nyeri an 11-day deadline to put an end to the drug problem in the county. The ultimatum was delivered via the office of the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua today.

The Kenyan government has stated that anyone who has been given the authority to serve as a chief in Nyeri county has been given 11 days to stop using illegal substances or risk losing their position.

The Kenyan government has stated that it is a waste of resources to pay Kenyan chiefs living in the county of Nyeri salaries if they cannot stop the use of illegal alcohol and drugs there.
