I Fought On My Own, Dug My Own Path To Be What I am Today, I Don't Lean On Any One - Gen Museveni

Ugandan President who doubles as the commander in Chief of the armed forces General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has come out to say that he doesn't need any one's assistance to lean on, adding that nobody helped him to be where he is today.

"I fought on my own, dug my own path to be what I am today . I dont lean on any one because no one helped me to be what I am now." President Museveni said.

The incumbent Ugandan president remarks came ealier this week when he was addressing the teachers to look into good ways of getting capital apart from putting too much pressure on his government to raise their monthly compensations.

"You should look into ways of getting the money you need. You see it is just recently we conducted elections and the country is broke. So stay away from such rubbish," He added.

President Museveni said he aware that some people have formed a pressure group and seeks to deposed him.

The long time Ugandan ruler said that such alliances have no space in Uganda saying January's 14 presidential elections were peaceful and everyone witnessed that.

"Such alliances have no place in the country. Even the January 14 elections was a peaceful one and everyone witnessed that. My close opponents also conceded defeat," He stated.
