IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati says election results will not be announced today. Chebukati said the electoral commission was yet to received the original form 34A from polling stations. When the forms arrive, the IEBC will have to confirm if the details filled in match those on the electronically transmitted forms .
After the forms of 34A are confirmed the IEBC chairperson will then announce the winner of the presidential elections . Currently the Azimio la umoja one Kenya alliance is leading the presidential race followed by deputy president William Ruto Kenya Kwanzaa presidential candidate, Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoya follows and last presidential candidate is Mwaure from Agano party .
The IEBC has confirmed that it will not announce that the winner of the 2022 presidential elections as it has seven . Former Prime Minister is leading with 51 percent in the current countdown . The IEBC has not yet disclosed the date they will announce the winner
