Narc Kenya party leader Hon Martha Karua has once again been offered a cordial welcome in the vote rich Mt Kenya region as she takes Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Aliince coalition party campaigns to Laikipia County.
Likipia is the county that is led by the incumbent governor Hon Ndiritu Mureithi who is Azimio's head of presidential campaigns.
Karua continues her streak of successful campaigns that many political pundits see as a threat to DP Ruto's influnce in the region as Mt Kenya has hitherto been UDA's stronghold.
Accompanied by CS Agriculture Peter Munya, the Odinga's running mate has urged Laikipia residents to vote for Raila-Karua ticket as she argues the two have integrity subsequently they can be trusted to run the country.
She has also pleaded with Kenyans to observe pece during political campaigns, during and after the August 9th general elections.
''The politics of today must be one of peace as we campaign, peace as we vote and peace even after the elections. Do not let yourselves become vessels of disunity,'' she tweeted.
