President Uhuru Kenyatta surprised Kikuyu community living in Transzoia County after he made a call to them through Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa during a rally presided over by Wamalwa and attended by local leaders among then Democratic Action party Transzoia gubernatorial candidate George Natembeya.
The head of state who was speaking in vernacular can be heard asking the residents if they recieved an amount he sent to them, the residents reply happily and confirm that they did.
He then proceeds to ask them to stand with the Democratic Action party gubernatorial candidate George Natembeya in the upcoming general elections, residents in Unison vow to vote for Natembeya to become the second governor of Transzoia County.
