The political analysts Mr Herman Manyora has predicted that the voters of Mt Kenya region will choose to support one of their own after Uhuru Kenyatta in the 2022 presidential votes. He stated that various presidential candidates have been trying to seek support from voters of this Mt Kenya as seen by the regular visits by the candidates to this region.
Manyora said that votes from the Mt Kenya region are critical and anyone who wants to be a President but does not have the region on the table is a joker. Manyora said that it will be so hard for outsiders to persuade the people of the region to support them as the people of the region will not allow any form of belittlement thus the decision to support their own
Even as some leaders have promised to support other presidential hopefuls from outside the region but at the end it is predicted that they will decide to support their own. The political analyst added that because of the confusion in the handshake and the exposure William Ruto' has had, it is possible for Mt Kenya voters to go ahead and produce their own candidate.
