While touring Wetangula's political backyard, Kenya Kwanza received a heroic reception with hundreds and thousands of supporters gracing the event as they drum up support for Deputy President William Ruto

Kakamega gubernatorial aspirants Cleophas Malala while addressing the mammoth crowd that graced the event, he humiliated and insults National Police Services saying that it's a post that should be reserved for Academic failures and school drop outs. He alleged that this profession is a mere work that nobody shouldn't dream of with their work just to carry guns around

"The work of police is to carry guns around something that doesn't require any academic qualifications. I want to ask Musalia Mudavadi anybody who shall have finished form four and having attained C+ he or she should be taken to university not becoming a police officer" Malala's demeaning remarks
