Waiguru, Ngirici and Kibicho Bury Their Political Differences During President Uhuru Kenyatta Tour

Kirinyanga county will host this year Mashujaa day celebrations. This national event will be held at Wanguru stadium in the county. The event will be graced by president Uhuru Kenyatta and Malawi president.

Today president Uhuru Kenyatta hosted Kirinyanga leaders at Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri county. Leaders present included Kirinyanga governor Anne Waiguru, Kirinyanga women representative Purity Ngirici and interior principal secretary Dr. Karanja kibicho.

In his speech, president Uhuru Kenyatta urged the leaders to bury their political differences and work together for the sake of the country development. He said that development comes when leaders unite and work together.

The leaders buried their political differences and warmly welcomed the president in the region. The leaders shared cool moments during the inspection of Thiba dam in the county. Kirinyanga women representative Purity Ngirici revealed on his official Facebook page that they have decided to put Kirinyanga county first. " Kirinyanga first" the women representative wrote on her official Facebook page.

The three leaders have been fighting to dominate the county politics. Kirinyanga women representative Purity Ngirici is keen on defeating the incumbent governor Anne Waiguru in 2022 gubernatorial race. Interior principal secretary Dr. Kibicho is yet to declare his political bid in public.
