The race to the state house is slowly gaining momentum. The two presidential candidate are already organizing their house with an aim of succeeding president Uhuru Kenyatta.
Today,the Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Amollo Odinga has hosted a group of 30 governors who supports his August polls.
After having a consultative meeting. Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho revealed why the county govenors are ralliyng behind Raila while anyway snubbing Ruto.
Joho Reveals that there was plans by the deputy president William Samoe Ruto not to support the devolution Joho says the plans to frustrate devolution which has been of benefit to the Kenyans have made host of governors to endorse Raila's bid.
The deputy opposed the new constitution back in 2010. The former prime minister Raila has requested Ruto to resign from the government if he means serious with the presidential aspirations.
Raila is expected to launch various campaigns across the country to popularise his bid.
