Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto are battling it out to try and succeed His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 9 general election which is around the corner with about fifty days remaining to the much awaited and decisive day.
Raila Odinga who leads the Azimio-ONE Kenya Alliance that is made up of ODM Party and Jubilee together with over twenty other parties will face UDA Party Leader William Ruto who leads the Kenya Kwanza coalition. In the race also is Wajackoya George of the Roots Party and Mwaure Wahiga who are making their debut in politics.
According to Recent Polls Released by TIFA, Raila Odinga has an upper hand in succeeding His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta if Elections were held today. The survey that was conducted in Nairobi showed Raila having the highest popularity ranking in the city leading at 50% ahead of Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto who trails second at 25%. Wajackoya comes third at 7%.
