With only sixty one days remaining towards August 9th general elections, Kenyans are anxiously waiting for the presidential debate scheduled this month of June, with the exact date to be communicated. There will be four presidential candidates who will be hosted in the debate.
Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairperson, Wafula Chebukati earlier confirmed that the successful presidencial aspirants were David Mwaure Waihiga of Agano Party, Professor George Wajackoyah of Roots Party, Raila Odinga of Azimio Coalition Political Party and William Ruto of United Democratic Alliance.
Fresh details have emerged that Kenyans will have an opportunity to ask presidential candidates questions during the forthcoming presidential and deputy presidencial debates.
Media owners association chairperson, Stephen Kitagama said, "The debate gives Kenyans an opportunity to interact and ask questions. We will create a platform for Kenyans to reach the candidates. Kenyans can ask questions to candidates who want to be their president."
