Moses Kuria Suffers On Big Blow After IEBC Disqualified (CCK) Candidate For Kiagu By-Election

Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) Leader Moses Kuria dismisses the decision made by IEBC to disqualify his candidate Milton Mwenda Kabobo who he had nominated him to bid for Kiagu By-Election.

Taking online on his official Facebook page, the Tanga Tanga lawmaker could not hide his frustration after the Kenyan poll body IEBC disqualified his candidate, he when a head and wrote this;

"Today the IEBC has disqualified the Chama Cha Kazi candidate for Kiagu By-Election Milton Mwenda Kabobo following a petition by the South Imenti UDA Coordinator Salesio Mutuma Thuranira. The party has been asked to submit a replacement candidate. We are dissatisfied with this decision, and we will move to the High Court first thing tomorrow morning to challenge this decision," Moses Kuria wrote.

Deputy President William Ruto had proposed Simon Kambi as the flag bearer of UDA, who was going to face Milton Mwenda in Kiagu Ward by-election.

Interestingly, the two candidates are from Hustlers Nation, the only difference was their parties.

GatunduSouth MP Moses Kuria is expected to submit their petition on Friday September at the high court to challenge the decision of the IEBC after Imenti UDA Coordinator Salesio Mutuma Thuranira causes IEBC to disqualify CCK candidate.
