The United Democratic Alliance party, the outfit which is associated with the deputy president William Ruto has declared that it will field a candidate in the upcoming Kiambaa Parliamentary and Magugu Ward by-elections.
The party has therefore invited applications from those interested in these seats, the applications should be submitted on or before Monday 3rd May 2021 at 12:00 noon. This comes after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission announced the deadline for submitting the list of applicants intending to vie for these posts.

A number of politicians have declared their interests in vying for the seat on Jubilee party ticket, they include three members of the Late Koinange's family, businessman Kariri Njama, and many others. Jubilee is currently the most popular party in the region.
Magugu Ward was also occupied by a jubilee lawmaker, this one too is going to be s battle stage. The two By-elections will see the President and his deputy William Ruto continue with their political war.
