The DP William Ruto's Chief of Staff Davis Chirchir and UDA Director of Communications Wanjohi Githae are safe wherever they are as confirmed by Githae himself and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen. This comes after the William Ruto's Digital Strategist Dennis Itumbi claimed through his media wall that the duo have been arrested or kidnapped.
According to Dennis Itumbi's post claims in the last few minutes, Chirchir and Githae have been kidnapped or arrested by unknown people. His post has however caused online jitters and tension among the DP Ruto's supporters while at the same time raising concerns on whether Itumbi's claims are true.
However, Githae has quickly took his media timeline to confirm that he is safe together with his workmate Davis Chirchir.
"Waziri Chirchir and I are safe", says Githae.
Also, Murkomen has confirmed through his media wall that Chirchir is also safe.
"Davis Chirchir is fine," Murkomen confirms.
