Former Bahati Constituency MP Hon Kimani Ngunjiri has left Kenyans talking after his latest revelation of what happened after the August 9th polls.
Ngunjiri has revealed that after he lost the August 9th polls, President William Ruto offered him to be a CS but he refused to take up the post.
He has revealed that he turned down the offer to be a CS in Ruto's government because he wanted a lesser seat since it was not a must that he is in government.
"It is not a must for me and Arap Kirwa to be in government, because we were not born in government and die in government. The President had offered me to be a minister but I refused, I said No. I wanted a lesser seat," Kimani Ngunjiri said.
The outspoken politician has claimed that the circumstances that led to his loss left him doubting the unity within the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party, revealing more cracks in the party.
Ngunjiri, who lost in his reelection bid, accused Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika of combining forces with his opponent and eventually influenced his defeat to current MP, Irene Njoki, which to him was a sign of disunity in the party.
The Former Lawmaker was speaking during K24 Breakfast show on Thursday morning, 12th January 2023.
