Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala and a die hard member of the Amani National Congress (ANC) on Saturday attracted thousands of residents in Malava and Lugari Constituencies.
Malala who is eyeing the Kakamega Gubernatorial post was popularizing the party alongside Vihiga County Woman Representative and aspiring Kakamega Woman Representative Penina Mukabane.
Senator Kipchumba Murkomen reacted that the Senator had managed to pull such a crowd further recognizing his activeness in politics.
The Elgeyo Marakwet lawmaker and who supports Deputy President William Ruto's presidential bid questioned Malala whether the One Kenya Alliance principals would be in the race since they have slowed their political engagements.
Murkome's comment comes after the Star reported that the OKA team are facing pressure from state operatives to shelve their ambitions and support the ODM boss Raila Odinga.
Mudavadi has however maintained that he will not relent, and that he will be on the ballot in 2022.
The former Finance Minister dismissed claims that the 2022 presidential contest is between Raila and Ruto stating that it was unfortunate that the media had decided to downgrade other presidential aspirants.
