The deputy president William Ruto was welcomed warmly by the locals of the area after returning to the seaside. Ruto was notified by the former ODM youth chairman in Wundanyi that he had relocated to the hustler nation.
Jinny, together with the residents of Wundanyi, promised to vote for Kenya' s deputy president in the upcoming elections. He commended the Deputy President on following through on his pledge to them.
He also chastised President Uhuru for having overlooked the Taita people in terms of development.
The coastal politicians being lead by the Nyali Mp, welcomed the deputy presidents visit to the region a little bit earlier, claiming that they were ready to receive him.
" Hustlers wako Tayari. Karibu Mombasa na Pwani nzima kwa jumla, " Nyali Mp stated.
While in Kilifi, the deputy president stated that he was willing to negotiate with the coastal people on what they wanted to be done to them and how the agenda should be implemented then sign it.
" We must establish a charter. I' m ready to sign a charter with the people of Coast on what needs to be delivered during my administration, " Ruto informed the Kilifi people.
The Deputy president also called upon the coastal leaders and there supporters to join United Democratic Alliance so that they could form the next government and form a country where peace reigns.
" I am not in UDA yet. Iam the Jubilee deputy party leader, and Coast MPs working with me like Dalu Tayari and Aisha Jumwa (M are in ODM. I am asking everyone to come aboard the hustler movement and ensure a united country, " Ruto additional added.
The Deputy President gave out the cash where he said that every business operator will take home some cash.
" This donation is from our pockets but listed to me very well. Once you elect us we shall boost the small scale traders by giving them monetary support each year. " William Ruto stated.
Residents have complimented the Deputy President, claiming that his assistance will allow them to expand their businesses and stock.
The coast is considered a stronghold for the ODM party, but Ruto is gaining popularity and support in the region.
