Over time, the Mount Kenya region have been very busy preparing itself for the 2022 general elections. This region have been trying to their level best to ensure that they will not be locked out of the next goverment. Through their leaders, this region have been trying to befriend other communities who might assist them in getting a share in the next goverment.
Now, today, the mount kenya leaders have come out to make a major announcement concerning their 2022 presidential candidate. As reported by the star news, Mount Kenya leaders who concluded their meeting in Meru said that they were going to field one of them as their presidential candidate. However, these leaders did not name the person whom they they will pick for this race.
"Mount Kenya leaders have said they will field one presidential candidate from the region. Speaking on the sidelines of the Mount Kenya leaders forum held at Kenya Methodist University in Imenti, Meru county on Saturday, the leaders said they have the numbers and will not accept to be divided into small groups and be locked out of the presidency." Said the star.
