Kisumu Residents Declare That Whoever Is Chosen As President Would Be Accepted.

Businessmen in Kisumu town, Steven Omondi and Hillary Otieno, made an appeal to Kenyans in other parts of the country to accept the results regardless of who they voted for.

"We would accept the results and recognize that whoever will be named as the President of all Kenyans," Otieno said in agreement with him.

Even though they supported Kenyan presidential candidate Raila Odinga of Azimio la Umoja One, Lillian Aoko and Karen Atieno declared that they would accept the results regardless of who was declared the victor.

You are aware that nothing is moving. Sincerity be damned, that announcement is what we're all waiting for. I know we all had our favorite candidates, but whoever is declared the victor, we'll accept it and resume our regular lives and jobs, said Omondi.

In a contest that was mostly between Odinga and Kenya Kwanza Presidential Candidate and Deputy President William Ruto, Chebukati is prepared to proclaim the winner at any moment.

Kisumu City, where Odinga is from, is overwhelmingly supportive of him.
