Fireworks as Ngirici Replies to Waiguru's Allegation

Daily political changes are occurring as Kenya's general election approaches. International human rights organizations have urged Kenyans to back nonviolent politics. The political environment has become more hostile as a result of President Uhuru Kenyatta's decision to support formal opposition leader Raila Odinga over Deputy president William Ruto.

To succeed the current president, Uhuru Kenyatta, who has served two full terms, candidates include Professor George Wajackoya, Deputy President William Ruto, David Wahiga and Official Opposition Leader Raila Odinga.

The Kirinyaga gubernatorial election is becoming contentious. This race is won by influential, outspoken pioneers. Among the most vocal candidates are current governor Anne Waiguru, who will run on the UDA party ticket, and independent candidate Wangui Ngirici.

Ngirici claimed that Anne Waiguru was wrong when she claimed that she was hiding out in Azimio "The card was their final one. By 10am, we'll have cleaned the County offices with their hair."
