On various accounts, politicians and journalists in Kenya have often been called out for sharing false information, especially on social media. This is mainly due to confusion about the information that should be shared. Excuses aside, it appears as if national media might have found themselves on the wrong side of a top lawyer.
According to Dr. Miguna, Nation media shared fake news about him. In the alleged fake news, the Lawyer is said to have advised the president for shunning professionals in his cabinet secretary appointments. Miguna has claimed that the report was false and that he only has issues with Moses Kuria.
Even though it is not clear whether Dr. Miguna is telling the truth or not, there has been a rise in information in the country. The reason for the increase in his information might have been due to Twitter's move to unverify some accounts that saw some Kenyan create parody accounts.
