Lawyer Cliff Ombeta has slammed Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed for using the name of ODM party boss Raila Odinga to pass his message after DCI's Sunday incident.
The DCI through Twitter account announced that two robbers had been killed and more than Sh1 Million recovered, before the tweet was deleted, attracting more questions after another picture of the said robbers on handcuffs surfaced.
Taking to his Twitter account, Junet claimed that a government that cannot respect Raila's stature cannot secure common mwananchi's life.
"When UDA/kk government politicians tell you their government don't kill people. Of course they are lying. An institution that does not respect someone of the stature of Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga cannot secure your right."
Junet's remarks did not sit well with Ombeta who said that the incident had nothing to do with politics or even the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya boss, terming it an extra-judicial killing which President William Ruto should strongly condemn.
"unet. This has nothing to do with Raila. This has nothing to do with politics. This is simply a sad case of extrajudicial killing. Res ipsa loquitor. These kind of acts undermine the administration of justice. Prezzo alisema.I believe ameona. He must condemn."
