Deputy President William Ruto today visited Gatanga, Muranga County. The DP was flanked by 15 legistlators from the region as he started off with a Sunday service in independent church of Kenya. The DP then proceeded to the Muranga County environs where he mingled with the crowd that was eagerly waiting on him.
The DP was welcomed by Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, Kandara MP Alice Wahome and Muranga senator Irungu Kangata. The DPs welcome in the backyard of Uhuru Kenyatta has amazed many political punters and netizens by the reception he was granted.
The DP addressed various crowds while traversing the county in a bid to popularise his hustler narrative. Ruto has been advocating for the bottom up economic development in the midst of BBI talks. Even though he has said he has no problem with the proposed ammendment bill, Ruto has also maintained that BBI isn't a priority right now.
Upon seeing the crowd behind the DP, one netizen commented on his post saying this man Ruto is loved everywhere.
