As the August polls are close to take place, the two prominent Coalitions in the country; that is Raila Odinga's Azimio La Umoja One Kenya and William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza Alliance have not yet unveiled their running mates towards the same.
This is a requirement which they must fulfil some months to the general Elections as per the Elections Act.
However City lawyer, Donald B Kipkorir stated that the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya team should adopt a method normally used by roman Catholic to get a new Pope in case the sitting one dies; where all the Cardinals are locked in one place, left with some food and with no means of communication with outside people for them to decide who the next Pope would be.
Mr. Kipkorir narrated that those salivating for the DP seat like Peter Kenneth, Kalonzo Musyoka, Martha Karua,Lee Kinyanjui, Peter Munya, James Mwangi should all agree to take an oath and be placed in one locked setting with their phones and any other means of communication with the outside environment taken for them to come with a suitable candidate to deputise Odinga among themselves.
He added this will reduce blame and wrangles in the Coalition hence smoothening Raila Odinga's bid to State House.
