The 2 Kenya Kwanza Alliance principals from Western region Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula today commenced their Western Kenya region political tour to hunt for 70% of the votes from this region. The ANC party leader Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi and FORD KENYA party leader Moses Masika Wetangula are marketing DP Ruto’s bid to be elected as the 5th president of the republic of Kenya.
Western Kenya region votes are now the limelight of both the presidential candidates for Kenya Kwanza Alliance led by DP Ruto and Azimio La Umoja coalition led by ODM party leader Raila Odinga. Kenya Kwanza has set a target of garnering 70% of these votes with the help of the duo from Western region, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula. The two coalitions are seeking for an upper hand from this region in order to secure their tickets to statehouse and succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta.
Unfortunately, the first visit of Kenya Kwanza team in Lumakanda ward of Lugari Constituency did not go as expected. An insignificant number of the people turned out for the public rally with Kenyans. Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula has spent much of their time off the people of western Kenya region and this might be the reason for low turnout.
