Deputy President pointman Hon Didmus Barasa clashed with Elgeiyo Marakwet governor Alex Tolgos in Uasin Gishu county where the duo shared a podium. They were attending an event when they were given a chance to address residents who were at the present.
Taking to the podium, Kiminini Member of Parliament Hon Didmus Barasa completely destroyed Governor Alex Tolgos for supporting Raila Odinga Azimio la Umoja. The vocal lawmaker accused Tolgos of hiding behind Raila Odinga after committing corruption in the Elgeiyo Marakwet county government.
Barasa also hinted at the posibility of Amani National Congress party leader Hon Musalia Mudavadi working with DP Ruto in the upcoming general election saying that ANC and UDA share the same vision and goals.
"All of us together with Musalia we believe in the protection of public resources, the other camp believes in the sanitization, if you have stolen public funds, a place to go is Azimio where Tolgos is," Barasa said.
On the other hand, Governor Alex Tolgos was handed a chance to address the crowd but found it difficult to sell Raila Odinga and his Azimio la Umoja. He was heckled and his speech cut off when he tried to speak. He however remained unbowed and said he will still remain in Azimio la Umoja.
