Kenyans have slammed one of the top leaders who worked with Wiper following his message congratulating Agnes Kavindu Muthama for winning the Machakos Senatorial by-election by a landslide margin.
Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang'ula triggered different reactions from Kenyans as he joined other leaders to send their congratulatory message to Kavindu after she manage to defeat United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate Urbanus Muthama Ngengele who had received the support from Deputy President William Ruto.
Wetang’ula said they are unstoppable after working with Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper to deliver the big win in the Machakos senatorial race.
Wetang’ula and Kalonzo together with ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi have expressed confident of winning the presidential election after hinting of a possible alliance come 2022.
Kenyans reacting to Wetang’ula’s post celebrating Kavindu’s win told him that he should not be too confident saying 2022 presidential elections will be different despite their alliance.
“Your alliance should not be too confident coz of that win. 2022 you will see smoke,” said Jane Mwangi.
“That win means nothing, if your collabo can win outside your backyards then you can brag, lakini presidency the four of you should forget about it,” said Alex Kipkorir.
“We all know 'mcheza kwao hutuzwa' Vie outside your strong holds and that will help gauge your popularity,” said George Kimani.
“Kwanza ng'ang'ana utetee kiti useneta. Joint campaign haitakuwa 2022 kila mtu atakuwa ako busy na yake,” said Justice William.
“Omwami, the wins in the three by-elections were in your ethnic backgrounds. Don't equate them to presidential win in 2022,” said Unemployed Doctor.
“hahahaha ....so you expect one of you to be president?” said Christopher.
Wetang’ula had said, “On my behalf and on behalf of the Lion party Ford Kenya, I congratulate mama Agnes Kavindu Muthama for the landslide victory in the machakos senatorial byelection. Our collabo and joint campaign is evidently unstoppable. 2022 tunaicheki!”
