Days after the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance camp unveiled its list of leaders who will sit at the Parliamentary Service Commission in the three slots, Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni has criticized the rejection of Sirisia Member of Parliament John Wlukhe.
Last week, Kioni presented Walukhe with the PSC nomination letter at Industrial Park Prison where he is serving his 67 years in jail for involvement in graft case, but his nomination was rejected by the Azimio's minority leader in the National Assembly Opiyo Wandayi.
In the list, Azimio has Mavoko MP Patrick Makau from the Wiper party, and Likoni MP Mbiki Mboko from ODM, with Jubilee fronting Walukhe, who was replaced with Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo also from Jubilee.
Speaking with NTV on Monday, Kioni maintained that Jubilee had settled on Walukhe, further calling upon the minority MPs to reject the list once presented for debate in the house.
"We sat as the leadership of Azimio, and agreed that Jubilee's candidate for PSC would be Hon Walukhe, and in that meeting Raila was in attendance. I do not understand how Dullo's name, who we gave as the Azimio minority whip would be doing in PSC list. Her move to relinquish that position for another one is not in the know of Jubilee," said Kioni.
