Machakos county assembly speaker Florence Mwangangi says her close working relationship with mcas she has been able to identify the problems affecting the people.
Mwangangi who has declared openly intention to succeed governor Alfred Mutua stated that in the four years she has been speaker she has noted that the major problems facing locals include water, improved health sw ctor, agriculture among other things.
"When the MCA's talk in the assembly and I also come to the ground I have seen your needs. I have acquired the knowledge, skills and experience at county level through my work," said Mwangangi.
"2022 I will be vying to be the governor Machakos county and because I come from a house of faith, if given the opportunity I will work diligently fearing God and not man and since I have noted a great letdown in terms of service delivery I will offer myself to serve you better as your governor," she added.
Other candidates in the race include Transport CAS Wavinya Ndeti, Mavoko member of parliament Patrick Makau, Deputy governor Francis Maliti among others.
