Since Deputy President William Ruto attended the ANC party National Delegates Conference at the Bomas, there are several reports that there might be a new union that has been branded as the 'Earthquake Union' comprising of; Deputy President William Ruto, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula.

Murang’a County senator Hon Irungu Kang'ata has taken to his Twitter podcast where he has celebrated the mega rally that has been planned by the three leaders.
Other than celebrating about the mega rally, Hon Irungu Kang'ata has also alleged that the Earthquake team has overwhelmed the Azimio la Umoja team.
"After UDA and Anc/ Ford Kenya Union, Earthquake has today hit National Assembly . The new Union has overwhelmed Handshake in Parliament with the rejection of House Business Committee names.History in the making." Murang’a County senator Irungu Kang'ata wrote.
Will the team that will be formed by DP Ruto, Musalia and Wetangula bring any threat to Azimio la Umoja?
