The Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga accompanied by several members of Parliament, senators and Governors today took the campaigns to his Migori backyard as he launched a new KMTC in the region.
Being his stronghold, political leaders who have in the past tried to jeopardize his walk to statehouse faced it rough with the crowd as they tried to address. One of these leaders is the Member of Parliament representing Rongo Constituency honourable Dalmas Otieno who has not been in good terms with Raila. Otieno is one of the few MPs in Nyanza who kicked off processes to form a new political party in the region to outwit Raila's ODM.
MP Dalmas Otieno had a difficult time addressing the crowd. The crowd which seemed unhappy badly heckled and shouted down the MP. Although he was drumming up support for Raila, Otieno was forced to cut short his speech and move from the podium as the shouts grew louder making it difficult for him to speak.
When Suna East Member of Parliament honourable Junet Mohamed took over from him, he indirectly attacked him accusing of being a 'Zebra' not sure of where he stands. He called upon him to make it clear and be in ODM to deliver 99% of Rongo votes to Raila.
MP John Mbadi also accused Otieno of visiting DP Ruto at night and coming back to ODM in the day. He likened him to Aron in the bible who decided to make gods for Israelites when Moses overstayed on the mountain.
