The BBI Proponents were dealt a huge blow in their bid for referendum before the next year's general election. This's after the high court ruling that the whole constitutional amendment process was null and void.

It has been revealed that the BBI Proponents are set to launch to pass some bills through the parliament should BBI fail in the judicial process. It has been reported that the BBI Proponents are set to save some of important proposals in the BBI so that the whole document cannot be nullified in vain.
The likes of Moses Kuria, senator mithika linturi and James Orengo are some of the members of the parliamentary committee proposed to lead the whole houses in extracting some of the important proposals from the BBI document should the court of appeal and the supreme court uphold the high court's ruling that termed the whole constitutional amendment process as null and void.
