During the weekend, Hassan Joho was among the most active politicians when it comes to holding political rallies. He infact surprised the nation as he pulled off large crowds of people in Nairobi away from his Mombasa county.
After all the heroics in Nairobi, Joho is back on serious business. According to reports, the Mombasa county Governor has moved quick to go to court not because he was summoned there but because he is fighting for political survival.
It is said that there is a petition seeking to bar Hassan Joho from holding public office, something that is definitely not giving the popular governor peace. For that reason, he has asked the court to remove the petition because on his side, he feels that the court lacks jurisdiction to hear it.
Whether the court will agree with Hassan Joho or not is not yet known for now but definitely, it is just a matter of time and the Mombasa boss will know his fate.
