Ruto is the second in command in the republic of Kenya a position he has held since 2013 when they were first elected together with the Head of state, Uhuru Kenyatta and they could later be re-elected without much contention in 2017.
The second in command has fallen out with his boss, president Kenyatta and this led him to form his own party UDA with a symbol of a bottom-up system. One of the talking points of the second in command is how he has acquired wealth in a short duration of time which he hand out in name of development across the country.
A section of a newspaper writing dates back to 1993 has revealed the amount of money deputy president William Ruto Used to donate, according to one of the occassions William Ruto donated Ksh53,000 thousand to the chairman of Juakali charity group, Mr mathias Mwarabu.
