William Ruto has come to the rescue of the former prime minister Raila Odinga after President Kenyatta intervened for him to be given the constitutional mandate to discharge his opposition roles. Details indicate that Uhuru advised Ruto to do the same after Ruto sought his guidance on how to tame Raila Odinga whose age may not allow him again to vie in 2027 and beyond.
