After a chaotic night was witnessed in Juja, where votes counting was halted, Irungu kang'ata and the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga have both broken silence.

Kang'ata has congratulated the Hustlers candidate for an amazing win in the parliamentarian race.

The Juja parliamentary seat attracted several contestants, however, it was two horses race as Koimburi and Wakapee's wife showed early signs of emerging victorious.

Juja -Get this right, what is happening at Mang'u is not the announcement of results.

The Supreme court clarified this- results were announced and finalized at polling centers.

Agents have copies of results forms. Only tallying is outstanding. Hustlers Win Juja! Congratulations to Koimburi.

In a clip aired by several media stations, Kiambu governor James Nyoro was leading a protest inside the tallying center hall in Mang'u Juja constituency.

This led to the IEBC calling off the tallying at the center citing its workers' security.

Raila's remarks

"What we have witnessed in the by-elections in Bonchari and Juja is an abuse of police powers and an arrogant display of IMPUNITY by a few overzealous and bellicose government functionaries".

The former prime minister Raila Odinga has also taken to social media expressing his anger after yesterday's incident.

The former prime Minister has lashed police officers for being politically used to some people's interest both in Juja and Bonchari.

He has also emphasized the right to democracy and why police officers should not be used by a certain group of people in the high end.
