The August ninth, 2022 polls are beckoning with just three months remaining before the Kenyans exercise their democratic rights. The Constitution states that general elections should be held after every five years.
Nominated senator Millicent Omanga is trailing in the latest opinion poll conducted. According to the Star Kenya media company, Esther Passaris who is the incumbent women representative is leading with 54.4 percent while Omanga comes a distant second with 27.5 percent.
Passaris is seeking reelection on ODM party ticket that belongs to Azimio-One Kenya coalition. On the other side, nominated senator is seeking to unseat the incumbent women representative on United Democratic Alliance of the deputy president Dr William Ruto.
In conclusion, these are bad news to Kenya Kwanza Alliance as they are trailing their main opponent in the forthcoming polls.
