Eyes On Jubilee Party As Key Leaders Fail To Attend A Crucial Meeting

This follows the Meeting conducted by the president and the Jubilee Members of Parliament. The meeting was held on Friday August 27. In absence were some of the strongest leaders holding greater positions in Jubilee party, including the secretary general, Raphael Tuju and the party vice chairperson, David Murathe. The reason for holding the meeting was to rejuvenate the party following the challenges experienced.

This comes after it was recently reported that the party members were pushing for the two leaders to resign. According to sources, Tuju and Murathe missing the meeting raised issues among Jubilee allies and Kenyans.

After Murathe was inquired about their failure to attend the function, he claimed that it was not based on general party issues but only for law makers who were to discuss their future within the party. He said that the secretariat of the party did not have issues to be solved with the rejuvenation of the party.
