Both Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto and the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Amolo Odinga are busy puting their own houses in order as the count down towards the next general elections to be held next year in Kenya continues. The two leaders have been receiving politicians and influential leaders in their camps.
But DP William Ruto has been dealt a huge blow as over 50 leaders and United Democratic Alliance youths decided to decamp to Hon Raila Amolo Odinga's Orange Democratic Movement. The youths have claimed that they are safe under Hon Raila Amolo Odinga instead of DP William Ruto's public lies.
"PL @RailaOdinga today received into the party defectors from Kisii County who ditched their respective parties for ODM. They were led by MP @MrOnyonka, former legislators Simon Ogari & Dr. Monda. Over 50 political leaders including UDA youth leaders joined the Movement." Tweeted by The ODM Party
