Cherera, Chebukati and All Other IEBC Commissioners Present at Another High Profile Meeting [Photos]

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission faced a bitter feud in the runup to the declaration of who had won the August 9th General Elections between the then Deputy President William Ruto and Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga of Azimio la Umoja.

The two rival factions were led by the Chairman Wafula Chebukati and the other one by Vice Chairperson Juliana Cherera over the results that would be announced a few minutes later.

A few days ago, while at a post election meeting, Juliana Cherera claimed that she had been booed and Chairman Wafula Chebukati did nothing about the situation.

This morning, however, according to the available reliable reports that we have from the Official Social Media Handle of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, all the Commissioners have been spotted at a meeting with the diplomatic heads.

In the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission statement, "The Commission is this day holding a post election consultative meeting with the Heads of Missions, Donors as well as Heads of the Diplomatic Envoys."
