Ahmednasir at it Again, Foresees What's Coming if Wanjigi Beats Raila in Nominations

Things could take an interesting turn after the ODM presidential nominations, which will see only one person get the party's nod to fly it's flag in next year's presidential polls, lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi says.

The race is currently seen as largely between ODM leader Raila Odinga and his ally Jimmy Wanjigi, after the apparent withdrawal of deputy party leaders Wycliffe Oparanya and Hassan Joho.

But Ahmednasir has predicted that none of the two will be willing to support the other once beaten in the primaries, predicting a situation where either Raila or Wanjigi will be forced to seek alternatives.

He has foreseen a situation where either Raila or Wanjigi could be seen rushing to "buy" a new party to use for the polls, even as he suggests that the ticket will end up with Wanjigi in a fair and clean contest.

"Whoever wins will the loser have enough time or buy a party for August 2022? Whoever comes on top is odm a viable brand after the "RUMBLE IN KASARANI" or it is too damaged?" he says in a tweet.

He says that the process of nominating the candidate might not be free and fair, all in a bid to cheat Wanjigi out of the ticket, warning that so bad could things be that violence might once again be witnessed.

"Will odm pick its nominee through a genuine democratic process or will Raila and Junet unleash on Jimi the "MEN IN BLACK". Is it true that with each Ward sending two delegates Jimi has the numbers? Will this then force Hon Junet Mohamed to make a fake/alternative delegates list? If so will Jimi come with his list too?" he poses.

The lawyer, a supporter of Deputy President William Ruto, is among critics of Raila, who has been of the opinion that Raila's fortunes are dwindling. In a tweet on Saturday, he said that Wanjigi is now even bigger.
