One of the presidencial contenders Raila Odinga has had issues with the Independent electoral boundaries commission commission that is mandated to spearhead the election preparedness. He has been throwing blames to the independent body citing malpractices in the Independent body.
Raila Odinga has in the recent past revealed that there will be no election should there be no use of manual register. However, these statements have been taken heavily by popular government expert who has warned him against boycotting the election as he did in happened in 2017.
He has sent a strong message to him revealing that there was a president was elected in 2017 even after he boycotted the election. This is a warning that he should participate in the elections since should he boycott, still a president will be chosen. "For Raila to say no manual register no election is a security issue. In his capacity, he cannot stop an election. It is not mandatory that Raila Odinga is on the ballot. He boycotted in 2017 but we have a president." Dennis Nthumbi, a governance expert warned while speaking in Tv47 during morning cafe discussion.
