Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has time and again been mentioned when matters to do with 2022 politics are discussed. He doubles as the KANU Party leader. Gideon Moi is happily married to Zahra Moi whereby they are blessed with two baby boys and one girl; Kigen Moi, Kimoi and their sister Lulu Moi
Kigen Moi is the eldest. Despite coming from a political family whereby his grandfather, Daniel Toroitich arap Moi was the President of Kenya, Kigen Moi has chosen a career outside politics thus breaking the monotony of the Moi family. Kigen to start with is an undergraduate student at the prestigious University of Bristol.
He loves to do things behind the scenes hence not much information is known about him by the members of the public. However, his love for game of polo is immeasurable. This is a very expensive game whereby only few sports club in the country have it. Sport of polo is usually played on horseback between different competitors.
Kigen Moi seems to have been introduced into this game by his father, Gideon who started playing this game at his youthful days. Kigen however seems to be a pro more than his father since during the annual Nanyuki Polo Challenge Cup, Kigen Moi got one over on his father. This was when Kigen’s team – Samsung Tab 4 – beat his dad’s team Samsung NotePro 5, 5–2.
