Kalonzo Says Azimio Postponed The Planned Rallies On 4 IEBC Official Ouster Due To National Exams

After Azimio La Umoja Coalition postponed their protest over Parliament's decision to examine the four opposing IEBC Commissioners, Kalonzo Musyoka broke his quiet. Kalonzo Musyoka stated that in response to requests from parents, the commencement date of public events would be pushed back from November 30th to December 7th, 2022, because of the ongoing national examinations.

Kalonzo Musyoka declared that the conference had come to three important developments.

One, they refuse to accept the legitimacy of the JLAC's proceedings regarding the four IEBC commissioners, viewing them as a lynch mob, a paid death squad, and an illegality with a predetermined position.

The second point is a call to the Ruto government to prioritize issues like the cost of living for Kenyans above the 2027 elections. The results of the Langaroo sessions held in the name of the JLAC, Kalonzo said, would be submitted on Thursday, December 1st, 2022, and a special sitting will be held on Monday, December 7th, to scrub the report.

Third, Azimio maintains that Ruto is seeking to institute a rigging system in the 2027 elections rather than the 2022 elections that the four commissioners focus on.
