Wetangula Of Betraying Raila After Meeting Ruto and Godec -"/>Bungoma senator Hon Moses Masika Wetangula has thrown salvo to the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance coalition party flagbearer, Hon Raila Amolo Odinga alleging the latter has committed treason twice.
Wetangula is a former political patner to Odinga in both the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) in 2013 and National Super Alliance coalition (NASA) in 2017.
Speaking in Nyeri on 17th Tuesday afetrnoon at the burial ceremony of Rigathi Gachagua's brother, the Bungoma senator has accused Odinga of attempted coup by Odinga to overthrow late president Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi and the January 31st 2018 incident where Hon Odinga swore himself in as the people's president.
''We are competing with a man who has committed treason twice. Once he was charged, once he was not. In 1982 you know our competitor was one of those who committed treason and overthrew Mzee Moi for a couple of hours,'' alleged Wetangula.
''Later he swore himself in as an illegal president of the Republic of Kenya,'' he added.
