The deputy president's United Democratic Alliance Parrty seems to have gained ground in Kajiado county.
The maa nation county together with Narok county is traditionally known to be Raila Odinga's strongholds.
The latest poll conducted by Mizani Africa has shown that the Deputy President, William Ruto can get the position of governor if elections are held today.

The member of parliament for Kajiado East, Hon Mary Seneta is also leading with 47.7%. Her closest challenger is trailing at 25.4%.
The deputy president's candidate, Hon Moses Olesekuda is coming second with a slight margin of 0.6%
The deputy President's ally Hon Onesmus Ngogoyo is also leading in the Kajiado North constituency.
Hon Jonathan Mejo is also commanding a lead in the Kajiado South constituency with 27.2% followed by his opponent at 26.6%.
If these results by Mizani are to go by, then the deputy president is likely to win in the coming polls.
