Bobi Wine Reacts After Members of His Party Allegedly Met With President Museveni

Today, the President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni met with a section of opposition leaders allied to Bobi Wine's National Unity Party (NUP).

According to President Museveni's post on Twitter, the meeting was held at the State House in Entebbe.

“Meeting a section of coordinators and members for the opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) at State House Entebbe. I appreciate their views on the different failures of the NRM, and my assurance is that we shall work together to address such.” President Museveni.

Reacting to the information shared by President Museveni, the opposition leader who is the Party leader of NUP Hon Bobi Wine termed Museveni's move as a shameless act.

He further added that Museveni just paraded people who are not NUP members. He claimed that Museveni is just desperate to cleanse himself.

“Shameless! After killing, maiming, torturing and imprisoning NUP supporters, he has the audacity to pay and parade people and claim they're NUP! His usual methods! He's too desperate to cleanse himself as the world gets to know the extent of his raw greed and brutality.” Hon Bobi Wine.
